Bio

My plays include BETTER NOT TOUCH THAT; WHAT HAPPENED IN OHIO; IN THE SHADOW OF A TRUCK; BEFORE YOU GET TOO FAR AFIELD; NIMBUSCLUD; THE TURTLE POND WAS A FAIL; SOME HIGHER GLIMMER IN OUR LANDSCAPE OF FLAT; and SMOKE THE CAT IS LOST. I have worked extensively with The Roadsters Ensemble, Van Reipen Collective and the performance/writing collective Wook Taut Majesty. I was Buran Theatre’s inaugural CartHorse Fellow, a Dixon Place Artist-in-Residence, a Leslie Scalapino Prize Finalist and a semi-finalist for Pipeline Theater’s PlayLab. My play SOME HIGHER GLIMMER IN OUR LANDSCAPE OF FLAT was selected to be included in The Bushwick Starr Reading Series.

I am an alumna of Target Margin’s Institute for Collaborative Theater-Making, New York City Players Summer School, La MaMa Umbria International Symposium for Directors, and Odin Teatret’s Misty Road to a Performance. I received my BFA in Theater Performance from Denison University and my MFA in Playwriting from Brooklyn College. I am currently a New Georges affiliated artist.

As a musician, I perform a mix of original tunes, classic country and bluegrass songs.
